The Madhyamaheshwar temple, also called the Madhmaheshwar temple, is a historic Shiva temple in Uttarakhand and one of the Panch Kedar sacred geography in the Shaiva tradition of Hinduism. Its name is derived from its near midway location on the scenic trail between the Rudranath temple and Kedarnath temple. The Madhyamaheshwar temple is close to several other pilgrimage trails such as those for Guptakashi, Kalimath and Gaucher.
