Mangaio Power Station is situated in the Waiouru Military Area, New Zealand. Water from the Wahianoa Aqueduct passes into the Mangaio Tunnel (under the Desert Rd) which feeds the Power Station or a drop structure (spillway) into the Mangaio Stream. The stream flows into the Moawhango Dam.
