English: Maryland School for the Deaf (MSD), formerly Maryland Institution for the Deaf and Dumb, a public school in Maryland (USA) for deaf and hard-of-hearing students. It was established in 1868 in Frederick, Frederick County, and also has a campus opened in 1973 in Columbia in Howard County. Former names for this school include Asylum for Deaf & Dumb Mutes of the State of Maryland (1868–1880), Maryland School for the Deaf & Dumb (1880–1916), and Maryland State School for the Deaf (1916–1958).
