Important information: There are two engravings of the Hortus Palatinus by Matthäus Merian from east, both produced in 1619/1620. The first served as source for the famous painting by Jacques Fouquières of the Hortus Palatinus, the second used that exact painting as source itself. Therefore, some of the files in this category show details that can't be seen in other files or even show slight differences.
