The basic composition or arrangement of the two statues and column in the Mawer Memorial was probably inspired by the wedding anniversary photograph of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, taken in 1854, the year that Robert Mawer died. See: File:Queen Victoria Albert 1854.JPG.
