McKinley Park, Alaska is a census-designated place in Denali Borough, Alaska, just outside the main entrance of Denali National Park. The main portion of McKinley Park is located in a canyon of the Nenana River north of the park entrance, and is home to numerous hotels, resorts, restaurants and other tourist-related businesses. This area has become known colloquially as "Glitter Gulch" in the years following rapid development of the area's tourism industry. Two stoplights were installed on the George Parks Highway in this area, the only stoplights in an over 300-mile stretch of the highway.
