English: Meitarō Takeuchi, the founder of Komatsu Iron Works (now Komatsu Limited) and Karatsu Iron Works (now Karats Precision Machinery), and a founder investor of Kwaishinsha Moter Car Works (an origin of Nissan and Isuzu). The "DAT" of Datsun was named after family names of the founder investors of Kwaishinsha; Den, Aoyama, and Takeuchi. Takeuchi was the eldest brother of Shigeru Yoshida (Shigeru was fifth son of Tsuna Takeuchi, and adopted to Kenzō Yoshida), and also a member of the House of Representatives of the Empire of Japan (1915–1924).
