Mercedes-Benz O530 Citaro/Tr12 is a low-floor trolleybus. This model is not an original trolleybus, it is a Citaro diesel bus, converted into a trolley by SZKT, a Szeged transportation company. While converting it into a trolleybus, SZKT collaborated with Cegelec and other electric companies. The Citaro trolleybus doesn't seriously vary from the bus in general, except the buses' vertical-style engine compartment has been removed from the interior, and the trolleybus poles are totally automatically operated.
