Mindszenty memorial (other tittle: Mindszenty-Pallavicini Memorial) by sculptor János Babusa (2016 bronze statues, stone memorial). Architect: Ilona Nánási. Constructed/built by Károly Králih. There are two 5/4 size bronze standing male figures. Between them is an almost stylized gate open with wings. The related story is still unclear: 1. At the time Hungarian Revolution of 1956, 1956-10-30., the chairman of the Revolutionary Soldiers' Council of the Rétság tank regiment, Major Antal Pálinkás (Pallavicini), took the cardinal from Felsőpetényi Mansion (where thecommunists kept under home arrest) to Rétság. 2nd version: It was decided to abolish the guarding, and the leader of the AVH asked for help by phone from the head of the Rétság barracks, Antal Pálinkás (Pallavicini), to send soldiers for the cardinal and to temporarily place him in the Rétság barracks. - Börzsönyi Street end, roundabout, Rétság, Nógrád County, Hungary.
