Category:Moine Thrust
English: The Moine Thrust is a geologic feature in the Scottish Highlands resulting from an ancient tectonic plate collision. The thrust reaches from Loch Eriboll on the northern coast south-west to the Sleat peninsula on the Isle of Skye. The thrust carried geologic material across Scotland entirely masking the geology of the previous terrane.
