English: Built as EMD E7 #765 for the Train of Tomorrow, rebuilt as E8 #912A for the Union Pacific Railroad, rebuilt as E9A #417 for Amtrak. Arrived at Danbury Railroad Museum in 1997, repainted as "NYC 4096" (one number higher than the last NYC E8). This locomotive never actually operated for the NYC.
