Im Stift Admont (Admont Abbey) gibt es ein Naturhistorisches Museum, das von Pater Georg Strobl nach einem Brand im 19. Jahrhundert wieder aufgebaut wurde. Von wissenschaftlicher Bedeutung sind vor allem die Insektensammlungen, darunter die Dipterensammlung des Paters.
