English: Depictions of naval vessels (whether attached to army, navy or coast guard) in the configuration for the decade. Date used for this category has nothing to do with launch date, but historically accurate depictions of configurations seen in the decade. Actual date the picture or painting is not important, so long as the depiction represents the configuration typical for the decade. Note that the term "ships" is used as a catch all term for naval craft of any type whether ships, boats or landing craft.
