New Orleans Terminal was formerly a major railway station in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. Located on the downtown side of the intersection of Basin & Canal Streets, it was often known by locals as the "Southern Railway Station", since (despite inititial plans for it to be used by multiple lines) it was used almost exclusively by the Southern, and it its later years electric lights with the letters "SOUTHERN RAILWAY" covered the stone carving above the arch labeling the building "NEW ORLEANS TERMINAL".
It was completed in 1908, Daniel Burnham, architect. Demolished in 1956, after all passenger service was consolodated at Union Station.
