Some of the obstacles are standard in any program, such as rope-climbing and swinging hand-over-hand. Others come from infantry training: crawling under barbed-wire, crawling through ditches, crossing streams, weapons held over head. Still a third kind are entirely innovative for the course: forming a human tunnel and having the trainees crawl through it.
