  • English: The frescos by Ludovico Pogliani at Palazzo San Giorgio in Genoa were actually repainted in the last years of XX century using Pogliaghi's sketches, that in their turn were copies from the 17th century faded frescos. It is therefore debatable whether they meet the "threshold of originality" criterion to be considered as covered by copyright.
