Deutsch: Der große Pfeilerfigurenzyklus ist das Hauptwerk des deutschen Bildhauers Peter Schro (* um 1485, † bis vor 1544). Es befindet sich im Dom zu Halle, Bundesland Sachsen-Anhalt. Der Figurenzyklus wurde von Kardinal Albrecht von Brandenburg in Auftrag gegeben und in der Zeit von 1522 bis 1525 fertiggestellt. Die Pfeiler- und Baldachinfiguren des Doms in Halle gelten als bedeutenste Schöpfung der Frührenaissance in Deutschland.
English: The large pillar figure cycle is the main work of the German sculptor Peter Schro (* around 1485, † until before 1544). It is located in the Cathedral of Halle, state Saxony-Anhalt. The figure cycle was commissioned by Cardinal Albrecht of Brandenburg and completed in the period from 1522 to 1525. The pillars and canopies of the cathedral in Halle are considered the most important creation of the early Renaissance in Germany.
