English: 'Piako' was ship of the New Zealand Shipping Co. built 1962 7,596 GRT. Launched by Alexander Stephen & Sons, Glasgow (Yard No. 676) on 10.10.61 and delivered to New Zealand Shipping Company in January 1962. Ofiicial Number 302884. Powered by a Sulzer oil engine delivering 16.5 knots. On 19.4.1973, she was transferred to the ownership of P&O S N Co. but on 31.1.1979, she was sold to London Greeks and renamed 'Reefer Queen'. She served with her new owners until 1984, when she was sold to Chinese shipbreakers and arrived on 12.8.1984 for demolition at Shanghai.
