English: The eight gravestones on Pilot Hill are the remnants of the Harrington General Cemetery which was dedicated in 29th August 1896. The graves have a dramatic site with spectacular coastal views and views along the Manning Valley to distant moutnains. The graves are enclosed by a gleaming white timber rail fence. The surrounds have been removed from the graves. Timber monuments have been painted are fixed to what appear to be posts of former grave surrounds. The surrounding grass is meticulously mown. Other features nearby are the Pilot Hill Trig Station and two green picnic tables with BBQ.

The individual monuments are:

  • 1 x sandstone stele (M A Scott 31/1/1865), earliest burial now evident
  • 1 x concrete desk with marble tablet and steel plate affixed, 3 x marble stelae 1890's (2 semicircular, 1 gothic)
  • 3 x white painted wooden crosses with lettering in black. Masons: A Goode - Sydney, Wood & Company - Sydney
