Pop Pyom (other titles: The Real Pom Pom or Pom Pom installation) is a bronze statue by Attila Pintér and Attila Rajcsók (2016). - István Csukás legendary fairytale hero Pom Pom awaits those trying to get to school in front of the two-storey buildings of the Liberty Square housing estate (Kossuth Lajos u. 1.), embodied in the installation of sculptors Attila Pintér and Attila Rajcsók, inspired by the fairytale character of the cartoon series Tales of Pom Pom, made between 1978 and 1981. The statue is made of stainless chrome steel, and Pom Pom himself sits on a tree made of four-and-a-half-meter steel sheets. The work was completed in 2016, on the occasion of writer István Csukás's 80th birthday. The inscription of the brass plaque placed in front of the fairytale tree reads: The real Pom Pom/Based on the fairytale character of István Csukás,/On the occasion of the writer's 80th birthday./Creators: Attila Pintér and Attila Rajcsók - Kossuth Lajos Street, Kisújszállás, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County, Hungary.
