English: The Port of Cape Town is Cape Town's working harbour. It includes Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, a mixed-use area that incorporates the Victoria Basin and the Alfred Basin of the original Cape Town harbour and the V&A Waterfront Marina. Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) controls Jetty 1 at the end of Quay 5, the Robinson Dry Dock and the Synchrolift located within the general Victoria & Alfred Waterfront area, while the rest of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront area is owned and managed by the V&A Waterfront group of companies. Other ship repair facilities operated by TNPA in the Port of Cape Town include the Sturrock Dry Dock at Duncan Dock and a repair quay at the eastern end of Duncan Dock. Local fishing vessels and leisure boats make use of the V&A Waterfront harbour facilities.
