Category:Posture 1 I modi
These images correspond to the first image in the woodcut copy of "I modi" created around 1555.[1]
One of the images (1857,0711.20) is thought to have been made by Agostino Veneziano. It is thought that these engravings by Agostino may have been copied from "Modi drawings"[1] that were made by Giulio Romano.[1] "A set of offsets from Giulio's Modi drawings might have remained.... after Giulio's 1524 departure... "[1]
This engraving by Agostino in the British Museum is thought to be dated to around 1530.[2]>
