English: Routemaster bus RM1993 (reg. ALD 993B) was delivered to London Transport in August 1964. In 1/1968 it was repainted at Aldenham.In 10/1977 it was fitted with a Leyland engine. It saw service in London until being withdrawn in August 1986. It saw further use from May 1987 with the south coast public transport operator Southampton Citybus, assigned the fleetnumber 403. By May 1988 it had been bought for preservation, being preserved in its Southampton Citybus guise.
