English: Routemaster bus RML2724 (reg. SMK 724F) was delivered to London Transport in November 1967. As with all RML buses, in the early 1990s it was re-engined (Cummins) and refurbished. It saw continual use in London into the privatisation era, passing in 1994 into the fleet of Centrewest (which later became First Centrewest). It saw further use until July 2004, when it was finally withdrawn having latterly been allocated to route 7 out of Westbourne Park garage (code X). Two months later it was sold to dealer Ensignbus, and then a year after that on September 2005 it was sold to a private owner, who exported it to Napier, New Zealand, for use at a vineyard.
