Category:Reaches of the River Thames

This is a main category requiring frequent diffusion and maybe maintenance. As many pictures and media files as possible should be moved into appropriate subcategories.

Apart from about 12 reaches of the mainstream Thames Estuary as east as Sea Reach (next to Canvey Island) many hard to define stretches (other than by official boundaries of the settlements) arbitrarily or transiently appear but are deprecated. This is as they typically crop up sporadically in detailed maps, many having rival names, extents and even overlap others seen at the same time and those are generally out of use beyond a technical or local level. Instead please consider the Thames/River Thames at/in ... [name of place or county] which will produce a correct category. This prevents a proliferation of categories which will directly overlap and categories which are too small, controversial and sub-parochial.
