Deutsch: Der Reynolds Cup ist ein seit 2002 ausgetragener Wettbewerb im Format eines Ringversuches, bei dem die analytischen Methoden, Fertigkeiten und letztlich die Messgenauigkeit der teilnehmenden Labore bewertet wird. Veranstaltet wird er unter der Ägide der in Chantilly im US-Bundesstaat Virginia ansässigen Clay Minerals Society (CMS). Dementsprechend liegt der fachliche Schwerpunkt auf Tonmineralogie sowie Sedimentologie.

English: The Reynolds Cup is a biennial round robin contest for quantitative mineralogy analysis, organized since 2002 by the Clay Minerals Society (CMS) which is located in the census-designated place Chantilly (US state Virginia). The focus of the competition is on clay mineralogy and sedimentology.
