English: The River Lea — a tributary of the Thames — in the Lea Valley of southeast England.

Flowing through Hertfordshire and Essex counties, then eastern Greater London, to its confluence with the River Thames in the western Thames Gateway region.
The River Lea primarily runs through, and is protected within, Lee Valley Park — a large multi-county regional park and open space preserve.

Note: natural features are spelled Lea, such as the river; while human elements are spelled Lee, such as River Lee Country Park.
