English: Rokuyō classifies months and days into one of six types, namely
  • 先勝 Senshō (January, July) A good day for starting new ventures and dealing with urgent business
  • 友引 Tomobiki (February, August) A good day for a weddings, but a bad day for funerals
  • 先負 Sembū (March, September) Urgent business should be deferred until later in the day
  • 仏滅 Butsumetsu (April, October) Most unlucky
  • 大安 Taian (May, November) A good day for everything
  • 赤口 Shakku (June, December) Unlucky
