Category:Roman reliefs from the 'Throne of Saturn'

Two fragments of a Roman relief known as the "Throne of Saturn": first recorded in the church of San Vitale in Ravenna; brought to Venice and installed in the church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli by 1532; and since 1811 in the collection of the National Archaeological Museum and its predecessors in Venice. Another nearly identical relief is in the Louvre. (See also the reliefs from the "Throne of Neptune", still in San Vitale.)
