English: The Statue of Samuel Adams located in Faneuil Hall Plaza, was scultped by Anne Whitney in 1880. It is a bronze version of the marble statue of Adams which Whitney had sculpted in 1876 for the National Statuary Hall in the United States Capitol, the citizens of Boston deciding they wanted a copy after it was exhibited in the Boston Athenæum before being sent to Washington, D.C.
