Decommissioned 1969. From 1971 to 1992, the ship was on Seattle's Lake Union.

Gary Bereska purchased the boat in 1992 and towed it to the Fraser River in British Columbia, but his plans for the boat never succeeded. Its hulk was partly scrapped in 2012, and the superstructure removed, but as of 2014, portions of the derelict ship remain on (or perhaps more properly "in") the Fraser.
