Description

Cairnesk and Cairnglen were design for navigation in ice as to ferry Canadian products. On 30 July 1935, Cairnesk sunk the Scottish coaster Errol after accidentally ramming her; she rescued the entire crew. She was renamed Zermatt in 1956, and broken up in Osaka in 1959.
