Beelden uit koper, gerestaureerd in 2016. “Schapenkoppen” is de spotnaam van de inwoners van Lier, naar een 15e eeuwse legende over de veehandel in de stad. Voor het monument werd de extra straatnaam “Schapenkoppenstraaté bedacht.
English: The Sheep head monument by the Lier artist 'Bertro' (alias Robert Schoofs), inaugurated on 20 June 1992, shows a shepherd, 15 sheep, a ram and a dog. Sculptures in copper, restored in 2016. "Schapenkoppen" is the nickname of the inhabitants of Lier, after a 15th century legend about the cattle trade in the city. For the monument, the additional street name "Schapenkoppenstraaté" was coined.
