Besitzer ab 1940 war der Unternehmer Ernst Müller, Inhaber der Zigarettenfabrik Aurelia. In den 1960er Jahren Wohnsitz der Dirigenten Lovro von Matacic (1899–1985) und Zeljko Straka (1919–?) sowie des Intendanten Siegfried Köhler (1927–1984). Von 1986 bis 2003 Sitz des Dresdner Zentrums für Zeitgenössische Musik, jetzt Wohnhaus.
