Category:Sentinel steam bus "Elizabeth" (Whitby)

English: Elizabeth, (reg. GT 2827), a 1931 Sentinel Waggon Works DG6P (DG for double geared, six for six wheeler and P for pneumatic tyres) vehicle, built as a flat bed truck, preserved in 1962, and converted in 2002 by The Northern Star Motor Carriage Company into a tour bus, for use in Whitby, England. (The prominent Old Glory lettering it carries is not a name but an advert for a steam and vintage magazine). The company also operates Charlotte, (reg. CC 9424), a 1929 Dennis GL / Roberts charabanc bus, marketing both as Whitby Steam Bus and Charabanc (www.whitbysteambusandcharabanc.co.uk). Now operating at Weston Super Mare.
