Shellhuset, former headquarters of Dansk Shell Co. A/S. The original building was built from a design by Gerhard Rønne in 1932. During the German occupation of Denmark the building was confiscated by the Gestapo. The building was successfully bombed by the RAF on March 21, 1945 and not rebuilt. The existing building was designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen and finished 1951.
