English: Shutlanger is a small village in South Northamptonshire, England about 5 miles east of Towcester and stradling the road from Towcester Racecourse towards Stoke Bruerne, 2 miles south of Blisworth and 7 miles (11 km) south of Northampton. In 1881 Shutlanger's total population was 403. In 1901 it was 339 and by 1971 it had dropped to 233.
