At the SE side of the mosque and on the same raised platform there is a square that has supports for coffins during burial services. To its SW side there are both a sibyan mektebi, a primary school and SE of that and seemingly touching it a spacious building holding many more graves, which must be the tomb of Grand Vezir Semiz Ali Pasha.
