English: The Ständehaus (i.e. estates house) in Kassel, erected between 1834 and 1836, housed the Kurhessische Ständeversammlung (Electoral Hessian Estates Assembly), the 1830-founded parliament of the Electorate of Hesse until 1866, then the Kurhessischer Kommunallandtag (Electoral Hessian County Deputies Diet) between 1868 and 1933, and between 1886 and 1934 the Provinziallandtag Hessen-Nassau (Provincial Diet of Hesse-Nassau), the parliament of the Prussian Province of Hesse-Nassau.
