St. Nicholas (1873–1940) was a monthly American children's magazine founded by Charles Scribner's Sons. It absorbed Our Young Folks magazine in 1874, and was purchased by The Century Company in 1881. In 1930 the magazine was sold to American Education Press, and in 1935 it was sold to Educational Publishing Corporation.
