English: Stoneykirk is a small village and the name of an old Civil Parish area in Wigtownshire in the District Council District of Dumfries and Galloway, south west Scotland. It sits in the heart of the Rhins of Galloway, 5 miles south of Stranraer. The the A716 runs through part of the village. The village developed around the village's church (now disused), with a number of small cottages. The main industry in the village was agricultural based.
