English: The Subaru JA Sambar (originally sold as the "Farming Sambar", 営農サンバー) was a special version of the Sambar available for purchase exclusively through the Japan Farming Cooperative. Originally introduced in April 1981 it has gone through the same evolution as the regular Sambar. After a facelift in September 1992, the name was changed to JA Sambar. In early 2022 the JA Sambar lost some of it's siginificance when the Sambar TA, also aimed at agricultural users, was added to Subaru's regularly available catalogue.
