Supercircles are special cases of superellipses where both axes are the same size.
They are described by the equation ${\displaystyle x^{n}+y^{n}=1}$, and are equivalent to the unit ball with norm ${\displaystyle n}$.
In this case, the ${\displaystyle n}$ parameter is set to 1.5 (if it were 2, it would be a regular circle).
Note that this shape has a curvature (n=3/2) that is the inverse of an astroid (n=2/3).
