As part of Phase 1 of Surrey County Council's Bus Review, route 460 was reduced from running every 30 minutes to run instead every hour. Between Redhill and Tadworth (except Walton-on-the-Hill), a half hourly service is now provided in conjunction with route 420. Between Marbles Way and Epsom, a service is now provided every 20 minutes in conjunction with newly introduced route 480. These changes were designed to place resources to match demand on the various areas of the route. In addition, a new Sunday service was introduced on a six-month trial basis, running two-hourly from Redhill to Tadworth (hourly in conjunction with route 420), and hourly from Walton-on-the-Hill to Epsom. The changes came into effect on 28 August 2010.
