Szokolya Cseh Péter Elementary School (and Szob Kodály Zoltán Elementary Art School Szokolya Site) 2021/2022 school year facts: 152 students, eleven classrooms, eight classes. This is the fourth school buildings of the village. Because the former Fő (Main) Street building was too small built this building in between 1974 and 1977. Upper level use by senior students 5-8 grades, lower part is for junior classe (1-4). In 1986 a dining room and a kitchen was built with 300 people capacity. The playground built by donation of the local TSZ (agricultural cooperativa) MŰFÉM (~~technical metal product maker) plant. The school gym hall built in between 1987 and 1990. In 2017 the gym roof got solar panels. Arts at the school: before street entry is a wrought iron barrier, on the facade is a plaque to Péter Cseh (1991), before the facade stand a wooden frame with iron wires with small nameplate 'leaves' named as "Tree of the educators and teachers in between 1977-1997" - 5/A Lévai Street, Szokolya, Pest County, Hungary.
