This chassis 110051 car raced as a works car during the 1950 season. Then, in 1951, it was sold with the three other "twin Sparks" to individuals; this was acquired by Georges Grignard who kept it for 20 years until its sale. to Thomas Roberts in England. Prior to its participation in the 1950 Rafaela 500 in the hands of Juan Manuel Fangio, this car won the Dutch Grand Prix driven by Louis Rosier, beating Fangio himself and José Froilán González. But in Rafaela, of the three Talbot-Lago arrivals in Argentina for Fangio, González and Rosier, the race was a solo race for the native of Balcarce who, with number 2, managed to be the fastest in tests like in the breathless race.
