The Black Pearl is a community art project consisting of a replica pirate ship made from driftwood and otherwise unusable materials, situted on the beach at Tower Promenade, New Brighton, Merseyside. It was created in 2013 and is maintained by local volunteers, and has already survived an arson attack and 70mph gales. It has become a notable visitor attraction and is especially popular with children of all ages.
