English: Media related to The Canyon (2012 work of art), a fence sculpture created in 2012 by Gordon Huether that was originally located next to the passenger platform of the original Airport TRAX station at the Salt lake City International Airport in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States, and is part of Art in Transit (a partnership between the various artists, the Utah Transit Authority, the Salt Lake City Arts Council, the Salt Lake City Art Design Board, the Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City, the Federal Transit Administration, and the Salt Lake City Corporation).
Following the demolition of the original Airport station in 2020, with no practical location immediately adjacent to the new Airport station, the sculpture was moved to a traffic island fairly near and southeast of the new station (between the arrivals lanes and the taxi, bus, limo, and shuttle lanes), roughly 700 feet (210 m) west of its original location.
Included in the interior of the new airport terminal is another work of art, also by Gordon Huether and with the same name, The Canyon.
