Category:The Headrow, the Headrow, Leeds

The Headrow is a pub on the street of the same name in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This was the very popular and cheap pub (89p for a pint of Carling or Worthingtons in around 2004) called the Guildford, which a long time ago had a pool hall out the back (since demolished). In around 2006 this became 'Oxygen', Leeds' first non-smoking bar, the smoking ban of July 2007 kind of killed its niche and it became the Northern Monkey, a rather tacky looking pub. In 2014 it became the Headrow, which looks a little more like the Guildford (why the original name couldn't have been re-adopted I don't know).
