Category:Triple Crossing (Millville, Massachusetts)

English: The Triple Crossing, also called the Triad Bridge, is a set of three railroad bridges over the Blackstone River near Millville, Massachusetts. The lowest level is the Providence and Worcester Railroad, still in freight use. Crossing over it is the former New York and New England Railroad (Air Line / Midland Division) bridge, which was abandoned in 1969 and reused for the Southern New England Trunkline Trail in 2016. The highest level was to be used by the Southern New England Railway; abutments and piers were built around 1911, but the bridge was not completed before construction of the railroad ceased. Both abutments, two large piers, several smaller footings in the river, and abutments on both ends remain.
